I love and have played and built my dream castle with it. You can build your life dreams without them being washed away. You cannot hold sand as it runs through your fingers, and yet you feel it when it is happening if you focus upon it and become aware of it as it happens. It is so much like the journey of life – we know we can touch life but cannot hold on to it forever. I love fine soft beach sand. It reminds me of walking in life beside the ocean of Spirit love.

In a typical sand reading, the subject is told to place their hand on sand in a small box and may also be told to draw a picture on the sand. Once the subject draws a picture, the reader interprets the symbols on the sand based on the energies of the sand and the subject. Then the reader interprets the drawing and tells the seeker about various connections picked up from the sand imprint and offers guidance on a particular problem of the seeker.
Native Americans were pioneers in sand painting and sand reading. They had dirt floors in their homes and they carried multicoloured sand and painted the pictures on the floor. A reader would then interpret these paintings based on the vibration of the painting, not only by the pictures. The reader is more concerned about the energy vibration, not only the image created in the sand. The reader feels and seeks Divine guidance to read the energy and concentrates on the vibration emitted by the sand imprint.
Reading a regular sand painting mainly requires intuitive abilities. All you need to do is to stare on the sand and let your eyes take you on the journey like they do in a dream. The images you will see will give you the answers to your questions.
Most of the time, most realizations and knowledge come from these kinds of day dreams wherein you take a quick dip into the vast consciousness of the cosmos and understand its truth. People often gaze at clouds or even at a fire or a candle to see the changes. We find that the clouds and the fire or a candle take many shapes which can tell us about our lives. The images that you see on the sand, clouds, fire, or a candle are the images that have been sent to you. If you can interpret those images, you will receive answers for questions in your heart. Just stare into the sand and ask a question. Let your mind and spirit drift into the vast consciousness and go with the flow. Pay attention to the thoughts inside your head; you will get an insight and answers to what you seek.
Sand reading is perhaps one of the most accurate forms of divination since the only communication between the reader and the seeker are the symbols on the sand.
